First sprint
This week we had our first sprint planning meeting.
We'll be undertaking twelve 3 weeks sprints over the course of the project.
We decided that the user stories to focus on in this first sprint will primarily be around setting the groundwork so that the connection between BPA Data Portal and the GVL Galaxy Australia service can be established and work efficiently - i.e. (a) setting up the API to Galaxy Australia so the BPA data portal will be able to invoke it, and (b) making sure datasets sent between the two are cut down in size and only contain the data subset that is of interest to the researcher.
We'll also be focussing effort on developing a deep understanding what is required to conduct ordination using NMDS, so that we can tease out the requirements to implement the functionality for this in the following sprints.
